Alternate Night (Odd-Even) Parking
For every night between November 1 and March 31, alternate night or odd-even parking is in effect. This is provided by Section 10.12.020 of the City's Municipal Code.
"There shall be odd-even parking on all city streets from November 1 to March 31 of each year between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m., unless other 'no parking' regulations are in effect. Streets that are subject to a ban on parking during specific times and/or days shall remain subject to this odd-even regulation when the more specific parking prohibition is not in effect.
'Odd-even parking' means vehicles will be parked on the odd side of a street designated by property addresses on odd days of the month and on the even side of the street on even days of the month.
Important Reminder
Remember to park according to the date after midnight. For example: if it is 7 p.m. on November 10 and you plan to leave your car parked on the street overnight, you would need to park on the odd side of the street so that at 1 a.m. on November 11, you would be parked on the correct side of the street.
Violations
Vehicles parked in violation of these parking restrictions may be towed for snow removal, street maintenance, or other public safety needs. We urge you to please take the time to understand and abide by City parking regulations to avoid the inconvenience and expense of parking tickets and towing.
