In January, Advanced Disposal, the City of River Falls’ contracted waste hauler, will pick up Christmas Trees free of charge that are placed curbside.
- Remove all ornaments, tinsel and tree stand
- Trees over six feet tall must be cut in half
- Trees must not be wrapped or covered when placed at curbside for pickup
Dates for Christmas Tree pickups will be the first three consecutive Mondays in January: January 4, 11, and 18.
If your Christmas tree is inadvertently missed, please call City Hall at 715-426-3413.
If recycling your tree is important to you, we encourage you to bring your tree (remove plastic bag, garland, and lights) to the city compost site located at 901 W. Locust Street during daylight hours.
