Save the date! RFMU’s Annual Fall Cleanup Event will be October 5-10 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Mon-Fri) and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Sat) at the Public Works Garage, 950 Benson St.
Eligibility: Spring and Fall Cleanup is provided for residents in the City of River Falls who have a utility bill through River Falls Municipal Utilities. This eligibility is a part of the CORE (COmpost and REcycling) fee, which includes the Spring and Fall Cleanups, Compost Site, and Electronic Recycling Event. Residents bringing items for disposal will be asked to present a form of identification and a copy of a recent RFMU bill. People who do not qualify will not be able to participate.
At the event, residents do not need to get out of their vehicles, as staff will transport the items from your vehicle to the dumpsters. When you arrive, please be respectful of the staff working the event. If you should have to roll down your window and talk to staff, masks are recommended. The City of River Falls recognizes the State of Wisconsin guidelines regarding masking.
A similar Spring Cleanup will run for one week, beginning the second Monday of May. For information: rfcity.org/cleanup
The Electronic Recycling Event will be Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Public Works Garage, 950 Benson St. For information: rfcity.org/recycling
