The City of River Falls will receive sealed bids at the City Clerk’s office at City Hall until 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2020, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the Foster Room of City Hall, located at 222 Lewis Street, River Falls, Wisconsin for “2020 Manhole Rehabilitation”. The work includes the approximate following quantities:
- 62 feet of Monoform Concrete MH Liner (6 Manholes)
- 13 Repair or Replace Bottoms
- Grouting of 2 Manholes
- 11 feet of Chimney repairs
Said work shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the City of River Falls Engineering Department. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for five percent of the amount of the bid made payable to the City of River Falls, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the successful bidder will execute the contract and furnish a performance bond and payment bond in the total amount of the contract within ten days after the award of said contract.
All bids shall be in a sealed envelope clearly marked: “2020 Manhole Rehabilitation". The City of River Falls reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the City.
