The River Falls community is considered a heart safe community. River Falls EMS takes a huge part in being a heart safe community. Our department teaches CPR/AED/First Aid classes to our community. River Falls EMS also helps place public access AED's in our community. Numerous cardiac arrest victims have been saved over the past 15 years in our community due to a combination of CPR/AED training and placement of public defibrillators. 

Community CPR Classes

River Falls EMS offers CPR training opportunities in River Falls and Prescott. To find available CPR courses and to sign up for a course please follow the directions below. 

1.) Go to the American Heart Association website
2.)  In the location box, type: River Falls, WI
3.) Click on the circle: Search Training Center/Sites
4.) This populates training sites based on the location. You will see River Falls EMS as the top site. Clink on the details button
5.) Look for the CPR, First Aid, ACLS or PALS class and specific date you want to attend and click on it
6.) Click "reserve" and fill out the required fields and submit when complete
7.) You're reserved!

If you have already registered, click the GovPayNet 'Click To Pay Now' button below to pay for your course with a credit/debit card. You can also pay with a check the day of the course.

Public Access AED

River Falls EMS is very proactive in recruiting businesses and organizations to host public access defibrillation programs in our community. The River Falls community has multiple organizations using the Public Access Defibrillation program.
